Hello folks... Headsup to any whom it may concern; the 2024 Nationals is planned for July 19-20, again in Morgantown PA at the Classic Auto Mall. More information is available at: https://camaronationals.org/ab...he-camaro-nationals/

Anybody planning to attend should book early to get rooms anywhere nearby. The host hotel (Holiday Inn Morgantown) may well be full already.

I'm planning to attend again, though this year not planning to bring my car (yet! LOL)

Email update 9/3/23 from Karl Scheffy includes the following copy & paste (NOT YET ON THEIR WEBSITE)...

"We have two seminars confirmed at this point.

Wayne Guinn is collecting more new information to present this year in the every growing popularity of vintage Heavy Duty GM Performance Parts. His knowledge of cross rams and heavy duty components such as JL8 brakes, were often used (and designed for) racers like Roger Penske and Mark Donahue. Wayne's seminars always draw a crowd."

"A special treat this year is a seminar by Phillip Borris, author of "Echoes of Norwood: General Motors Automobile Production During The Twentieth Century". Phil's research goes back to the beginning of the plant in 1923, and traces production and techniques all the way to the plant's closing in 1987 - which of course covers lots of Camaro production. He has oodles of tidbits and details everyone would love to know, and is bringing some great items along with him, like an actual gang stamp, used to press the numbers into metal panels. etc. Don't miss this one." (EMPHASIS ADDED/cm)

The 67 is scheduled to display at the super solid lifter showroom in building T in June, and I will be at the Nationals with the 1993 in July also.

Gary B & Danno... You guys out there? Either of you going back for 2024? Very curious to hear the final results & maybe compare notes (PM if preferable)? Best regards/Charley

[i'm adding 2023 update/results (not done yet!) at: https://camaropacecars.com/eve...933908897#5933908897 ]

I'll be attending; but probably not with my car (at least, not planned at this time). Spoke to Karl to offer assistance... maybe you'll see me folding T-shirts or something (LOL)?

< deleted 'hotel' comment (7/25) >

Trying to find anywhere in area that offers Camaro rental cars??? Any insights anyone? Unsuccessful so far trying to get any actionable info from the major rental companies. Websites say 'cars in this class include X, Y, X' etc. And nobody answers phones at the local offices. Don't want to go 'private party'; prefer to stick with a known brand...

Would really like to avoid showing up at the CAMARO show with a MUSTANG (LOL)...
