Yes you posted the picture, but not the rider. You are the MAN! How in the world do you get this info? I love the pic. I'm going to see if I can get it blown up a bit to hang in the garage.

What relationship to the race was she? Do we know her real name? Like Cheri or Alexis, not Mrs Clark.
I'm 99% sure she was a past president of the Festival Committee...maybe like the 1965 President. I was told she passed away back in the mid 1990's... I don't believe I ever heard what her first name was.

It's my hobby Tom!
Ever since I completed my Pace Car, I've tried to find out everything I could on the 1967 Pace Car program. The picture came from one of the retired Indianapolis Zone managers that I tracked down!

Sticking to Tom’s request, I'm posting questions specific to #3 here. I spoke with Steve Rodriguez this morning about the car and what he had done to it. He stated that he replaced all of the lower rocker trim and window felts with NOS GM He did state that the fan blade is incorrect for the car. What fan am I looking for? Is it the 5 blade fans that are on EBay ranging from 35-100 bucks? He told me not purchase anything for the car other than an Interior kit. He rebuilt all the original breaking system and saved the original two pc rotors. Oh, btw...Tyler called me the other day and said it should be ready on 21 Oct. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm not sure. I'll have to call and ask. I'm sure I probably could...PM me how much you need for it. Does it appear to be a good usable item? I think the Block is dated A 7 of 67? I have it wrote down at home.

Saw this shirt at the store tonight, and thought this would really go great with car #3. I placed the Camaro patch on it, though the #3 and 1967 were on the shirt. Figured a Camaro was a "Land Yacht".
