Every original 67 Camaro I have owned had the writing on the inside of the front valence. Who and why did this? They had to have 2 grease pencils, because on the black car it was done in white, like your fender extentions.

Ok Guys I need some help.

I have located the correct 346 Master cylinder for the car and have my choice of two different ones. One is undated and the other is dated 314th day of 66. This would be around Nov 66. Is this acceptable? Which one should I get for the car?

Pick the one that has a "WT" stamped on the front pad. Wink Or do they both say "WT" on the front pad? "WT" is the code for Camaro only. The power booster unit should say "8515" on the tab on top, if you have a power assisted brakes.

If you just want to get the Pacer up and running with the correct part number master cylinder on it then it doesn't matter I would think. If you are looking at two correct part numbers and the correct "WT" code stamped on it then pick the one with the closer date code to your Pacer.

Just make sure there are two bleeder valves on the side of master cylinder if you are going to use a correct part number master cylinder.

WT on both pads. One has no date at all and the other is the 314th day which would be early Nov 66. The car is 03C 67. I'm not sure if a Nov 66 unit would be too far away or???? I need to call back and see which booster is on the car.

Hi Tom,
If this seller has more than one ask him if he has one closer to the date you are looking for.
Dates like you are mentioning are a Julian date.
The Julian date starts where "1" is January 1st '67 and so on.......up to where your Pacers birthday is. Do you know the build date of your engine? If so, try to get as within a 3 or 4 days before the build date of the engine. Although, some people are comforatable being further away from their build date. I would say you need one dated somewhere from Julian date 78 to 85 if you are wanting to get close. The closer to your Pacers birthday the better. Good luck!

Cliff called me tonight and stumbled into a guy that had just scored a 33,000 orig mile RS/SS 67, that came with a ton of 2 of ea NOS parts to include a factory riveted Grill wrapped in GM papers. Same for the headlight covers and motors. He thinks he may get lucky enough to score some of this with some horse trading Smiler I'll let you all know later what come of this. It looks like the remaing order of parts will come from Heartbeat City in MI. Nobody seems to offer the most correct items that I desire. I can get some from one vender and some from others, but not everything at once. Do you guys have any recommendations? Right now the current bill is 1796 with Zero discount and only free shipping. I refuse to buy anything from Classic Industries even thought hey have the 20% off sale. They sell a ton of crap and don't offer the oddities that Jim does. I like the CHQ line items. I’m looking for some GM wheel well moldings as well.

Make sure these parts are really what you need before you buy them.... NOS is tough stuff these days and most if not all is 68 and up..

Bob Harris can help with parts for sure..
Ricks has never let me down with parts quality ( best available if there is more than one option), pricing and above all inventory and shipping back orders straight away
