I am in the position where I want to start getting date code correct parts to put a 396 together for my 04D car. The original 396 is long missing. Is there a place that would have a list of acceptable date ranges for items from the heads to say the starter and everything in between that I can reference when buying parts. Thanks for any and all help

I would look for parts within 3-4 months prior to the build date.
