My old temp sender when on the fritz yesterday and I replaced it with a Standard TS6. The old one which only had a marking of a "6" on it would run normal temp between the T and E on the gauge. My new one pulls past the P towards the H before settling down around the P.

What is the normal location for the needle? Which sending unit do you use?

I have read that not all of these are created equal.
