The carpet was a slam dunk-- Both Mike & I, along with Knoch's folks, agreed on the match. I was cautiously hopeful the vinyl welting selection would go equally well.
Mike had a vinyl sample that he liked, from prior visits. Also I had the aforementioned Knoch sample I liked, that they needed to revalidate.
We put all the cards on the table (so to speak)... And as it so happened-- Mike's sample & mine were THE SAME MATERIAL-- with BOTH also matching a SECOND sample Mike obtained in the factory-- AND ALL MATCHING THE VINYL FROM MY DOOR PANEL!!!
The correct vinyl for the door panel's carpet welting ended up being '69 Camaro dark blue 32 ounce vinyl |

The correct type for the carpet is Trenton, not Tropicana. |
