Boy oh boy... As the frog said from his lily pad... "Time's fun when you're having flies"... you get the idea. Unfortunately GIT-R-DONE from my September update has turned into "...when I get around to it" by April... and the project quietly observed its 3rd anniversary without fanfare last week. No live action updates on the interior yet. Ordering the interior stuff has been high on my to-do's for a while now. John & the boys have been steadily plugging away on the car itself. Unfortunately they are rapidly nearing a point where the critical path is becoming yours truly.

I did get a chance to pay a visit in December with some very special people-- Please let me introduce the 'real' Owner #6-- MY MOM & her husband (that's me in the back)...

Well that's just terrific.. Great to see the family enjoying it all.. I can certainly appreciate having to take hiatuses on the time consuming and expensive projects.. Your car will be spectacular when done. Please keep us posted on the build up details as you always have been. People learn a boat load from posts like this.. The " page views " for this site are still very high so SOMEBODIES looking.. I for one appreciate it a ton

Has any advancements been made on finally getting it right?

Hello. I have had some recent conversations and new info. about interior soft parts which at this point leave me cautiously optimistic. If details come together as I am hoping for, I am anxious to move forward quickly for my own reasons.

At one point some folks had expressed interest in a group order. Not sure if there was ever a headcount established? If anyone interested in more details please PM me with contact info. Please be patient for reply as I have not been keeping current on Email lately.

(Disclaimer: This is not a commitment of action or a promise of specific outcomes-- simply an attempt to gauge the level of interest.)

Here are some examples of stuff I've recently come across...

# 4 is an obvious weed-out...

And yet again different lighting (#1 & #2 only)... I'm still liking #2 for a winner...

And not to forget the edge band on the floor carpeting... This is sample #1 from the first 3 pix... color wise a perfect match for original sample. Texture varies a little: but remember this is for 6-inch strips on the floor under the seats...

Things have slowed down on the car a little bit-- while John moved his operation to a new & much larger location...
