Mike, Thanks! I mentioned the C-4's because they were likely in the mix but a very small percentage of production. again-likely all COPO's and all built for Chevrolet officials. My guess would be 10 Blue Tops delegated to zone 25 and another batch of 7 or 8 Blue Top Pace Car Replicas that were used for the visiting Brass from Chevrolet Central Office (zone 01). So 20 cars is a likely production target? Again 061 or 062 makes sense or perhaps yet another FS+O code? More research is needed. When I interviewed Norwood Plant Manager Herb Leitz for Echoes He shared a remarkable story on the birth of the entire program (not paint related) but I think that one deserves a separate thread sometime. In Phil's September 11 reply post he mentions #80055 for the Canadian sold pace cars. For those who do not know this is the Zone number for the Oshawa Ontario plant where the cars were delivered. I can't speak for whether the Foyt car was at the end of this group of cars but know for a fact it was not the last one built, as I have seen the last car in the registry and it was sold from a dealership in Hamilton Ontario. We know the small block cars were built first in this group, then the big block cars.

And your contribution to the puzzle was the CDN documentation you requested. Well done David. Phil@camaropacecars.com
