The forum to be held on Friday night at the Hotel is getting a couple of roving microphones for the audience
and several tables at the front all with microphones for the forum participants.

Both questions and answers will be sent through the room PA system. blahblah

Couple of interesting and Historic things are happening on Friday night at the welcome meeting.

First-- We will be showing Movies from in plant showing Camaros and Firebirds being built!

And...

We will be releasing for the first time all of the 1967 pilot build data from Norwood and Van Nuys combined including all related "F" production information and also "B" body information.

Unlike a previous limited data release in the 1990's by the now defunct USCC - this Release is complete and contains all of the information redacted by the USCC when the information was formatted for print.

To be clear the data for all of the 1967 Pilot cars will be released directly to the participants on Friday night and everyone will get a copy.

Pilot Line worker Jim Seim will be on hand to answer questions and personally sign copies.

Have a beer with Jim!

Jim worked with Mr.Beaulieu in Flint on the "F" car development and was instrumental in the run up to NOR and Van Nuys Production. Cheers

The turnout for the gathering is expected to be fantastic..I was selling books this past weekend at the Springfield swap meet and three retirees walked up and a bunch of people gathered around for the discussion..

Priceless!

Those of you with cars that have registration information please get it sent in so I have time to get the signs and awards ordered.

I just selected the video producers that will be doing the official plant history documentary. Yes there will be an upcoming film documentary on the Norwood Plant and its history making operations.

In the tradition of film documentary work pioneered by the likes of Ken Burns- the finished film work will likely appear on either Speed, or the Discovery family of networks when complete.

Filming and interviews will begin at the reunion. I am thinking that if you need a display example for how a car was built then the display cars will provide ample backdrop for the stories of what it was like to build them. Cheers

I just confirmed with the producer that top quality cars are needed.

Restored cars and Survivor examples will be perfect for filming.

If you have such a car and would like to display it at the Norwood Built exhibition area then drop me a PM.

Phil ,

All the best for the event this weekend.

Yet another event I am unable to attend due to other commitments beyond my control.

I am deeply saddened that I miss this and previous events you have hosted.

I am sure it will be another knockout event like the others. first

Please be sure to say gidday to all the retires on my behalf and tell them I hope to meet them all soon. Ausflag

This Year's event has concluded, and unlike Last year's exhibition this one was far easier to enjoy due to the hard work and dedication of Keith C and others who assisted.

While last year's event greatly exceeded everyone's expectations for employee turn out - the down side was that we actually had a car get scratched last year with people trying to squeeze in to see it. This year was more in line with the initial attendance projections from last year which was steady and consistent all day.

The Norwood Workers greatly appreciated seeing all the great cars there and they thank all of you who attended.
