Soon as Brickyard race is over this weekend I am sure a lot of them will be going to the GM auction and then on to GM dealers around the area. Unfortunately for the track trucks most of them end up with the dealers stripping the graphics off and they become just another white truck again! Quite a few of the cars normally get stripped as well. There should be a bunch of Corvettes available at least 43 since it takes that many to introduce the drivers at Brickyard 400 unless they use trucks for that as well. I guess I will see tomorrow since I am taking my family to the race. We will be in the first turn in the SHADE! Can't wait!

They may reuse them ( The white Tram 2500 Trucks ) for the Moto GP before being sold.

Chevrolet did not use Corvettes for this years driver introductions. They used extended cab Silverados on loan from the dealers. This is the reason why they were all colors, red, white, blue, black, silver and even a black cherry. A crew cab truck was even slipped in depsite the request for extended cab trucks.
The only id was a number in the left hand lower corner of the windshield and a "CHEVROLET" windshield banner. The trucks will be returned to thier respective dealer that loaned them out. No other special id was used. I do have the
list of trucks (1-43) and the driver that was in each truck. Hope this helps. Jim H.

You laugh, just after the race ended I got about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ICE. We have a heck of a hail storm. I thought I was in Indiana!

They also use them to sweep the track during the race. I see if I have a photo with the sweeper atachment.

One of my new Co-works has some nice photos of the Camaro at Indy and the brickyard on the track. I will also try to get those to Bill.
