Just got home from a LONG drive from Ky to NJ. I will write more tomorrow but all I can say is LOTS of phone camera photos were taken as people passed me and the car .... WOW.

Driving was AWESOME. Tons of thumbs up and double takes, trucker blasting their horns ... Lots of cars passed me then slowed down to let me catch-up and pop a cell phone picture. Drew a crowd when I stopped for something to eat and gas in one of the rest areas.

I also need to give HUGE thumbs up to the dealer. They were GREAT. I have to say by far the best experience I've ever had in buying a new car.

This is a photo of my daughter thinking I brought home her first car as she just started driving.

At the dealership the car had some nice company. That's a ZR1 and a LeMans limited edition Corvette

Meybe you could buy her a Bumblebee RS V6. That will be more fun than a Volvo!

Congratulations Bill! Lucky guy!!! Be careful driving it, there are a couple of posts on Camaro5 where the presence of their 5th gen. actually caused an accident. I guess the fact that you become a stalked celebrity type whenever/where ever you drive it speaks for itself.

The 2009 (2010) portion of the site is pretty much ready. Just waiting on the graphics from a friend of mine who does it for us.

Can we have a preveiw with out the graphics?

It's the same as other others just different colors to matchthe 2009 (2010) Indy Festival cars. Linda who is doing the art for me hopes to get me things this week. She's been away on vacation anmd catchingup on her real job, which pays a lot more then me!

Got a reply from the Speedway police who had my car, not much but at least I know. here is the response

The vehicle was assigned to me since I serve as Chairman of the Public Safety Committee for all events held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The vehicle was not utilized for any photo opportunities nor was it used for any other purpose other than a mode of transportation.

Oh well
