Hope everyone is doing well. This side of the forum hasn't seen a lot of action in a while, but I was wondering if anyone had any nice high resolution pictures they wouldn't mind sending me of the '09 festival cars during or before the 500. I'm trying to get a hold of as much info/history and background on these cars as possible, as I know as the number of years we are removed from '09 that info will get harder and harder to come by. Also, if anyone has a list of which numbers were assigned to what activity or festival committee member that would be great to have as well. My car is number 16, so if any of you guys have detailed info on it, that would be much appreciated too. If you have info you want to post, that is cool; but if there are pictures you'd rather email than post up to conserve their quality, you can send them to branto@osborneho.com thank you in advance for any info you may have.

16 may have been a display car, as I do not see it as being assigned to anyone.

I had a look in my note book. The only thing I have on #16 is the Craig's list Ad with 500 Miles for $47,000. I do not see an assignment to that number. The cars before it are IMS employees. The two cars after it were used by the local Police departments.

Thanks for the info thus far. The Craigslist ad you are referencing was from Columbia Chevrolet in Montgomery, Oh (suburb of Cincinnati) where I actually purchased the car new. There they had the plate, some of the GM info in terms of the registration, certificate of insurance, etc. but they never could locate an original window sticker, however they ordered a repro that shows them as the delivering dealer, which I assume would not have been the case originally. I also know that the Vin is a90 do it's preproduction, but I would absolutely love to get a hold of a copy of the GM order for these cars or something. Does anyone know how that paperwork flow works, and if there is some document out there that says GM produced these 25 VINs specifically for this event?
