Anyone know what became of Indy Camaro #21 9000681? Do any of the cars have the Blue Brickyard anymore? Now that would be rare.

Brickyard Car #22 now on Ebay. Here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...DME:B:EF:MOTORS:1123

They also still have car #21, same price. It is currently in body shop having the door damage repaired.

These are the least expensive of these cars I have seen. They are about $2,000 over MSRP. both have about 3,000 miles on them I am told.

The VIN number in this EBAY ad does not match the numbers in Larry Millers post above? EBAY ad says VIN ends in 615? Just curious as to where Larry Miller got those two numbers he listed for these two cars? The one on Ebay is car 22 according to the dealer and if you blow up the photo you can almost make out 22 on the windshield. 21 is the one in the Body Shop being repaired.

Anyone have any idea why they would change the numbers on the cars from Indy to Brickyard? I could kind of understand if 25 Indy cars were number 1 through 25 and then 5 Brickyard cars were changed to 1 through 5, but the sequence above described by Lee (21-22-23-25-38) makes no sense to me at all!

This is what I think the numbers are. confused

Indy car 5 became 25 for the brickyard. last of the Vin 670 and went to Penske. Was on Ebay at MSRP. No event Decals at this time on the door.

Indy car 6 became 38 for the brickyard last of the Vin 615. Went to Skillman for $5,000. Now had Indy again on the door.

Indy car 10 became 22 for the brickyard last of the vin 873. Went to Andy Mohr for about $2000. over. No event decal on the door at this time.

Indy car 15 became car 21 at the brickyard. last of the vin 544. Went to Andy Mohr for about $2000 over. No Red stripe or event logo on the car. confused IMS on the rear bumper only.

Not sure about the number of the other brickyard car. Had to be Indy car 21 or 23. Number 23 was at Dan Young ( Tipton IN ) with no event logo. Not sure what became of 21? All of the other 25 Camaros I have some record of location.

Indy plates had the 500 logo from 2009. Brickyard and Moto GP Camaros used the IMS logo plate.

Indy had Vetts 26-60. Some got reused for brickyard and the numbers started at 1-? I am not sure if their was a pattern or just were they got parked. We will need to ask kim. Some have Brickyard on the door and some have no event logos. Example Vett Indy 53 become B/Y 17

Car 1,25, and one more may get painted like the real Pace cars.

A Camaro with the Brickyard (Allstate 400) Blue logo on the door will be rare.

I like the History that you get with car 670,615,544 and 870.

As we learn more about these 5 cars I can make changes.

Lee
