Is anybody out the restoring a 69 Z11 as we speak. I would love for the 69 boards to become a bit more lively. Guys post up your ongoing projects both good or bad... We all appreciate a good build that could help others out to correct their cars. Once our Z11 is in full prime, I’ll start posting resto progress of ours.

It's really amazing how well the orange down inside the cowl under the grating held up on these cars. Tom, this is your car?

Steve,

Yes it is... Most would think I was nuts for going this far to save a car, but it had so many factory options not save it.

Our Z11 has the following options:

JF stamped 396/350 hp, M20 4spd, Pwr top, defog, pw, tilt, rosewood wheel, tint, AC, console/gauges, GM endura front bumper (added by me), rear guards, remote mirror, am/fm stereo, fold down, trunk and under hood light, and finally vigiltie. I’m sure there is more, just can’t think of it off the top of my head. I plan to add the dealer installed or firebird power trunk release as well.

One of my favorite things is hand sanding high build primer.. I wish I had more time to spend doing body work.. I know it sounds insane but it is very satisfying to me to get something looking good like this car does
