picture showing remnants of blue top fabric, (NO blue frame, which I believe was a Fisher mess up on that particular day in 06C when Canadian Ferstival BB cars were being made), manual convertible top mechanism, 6 point roll bar (now removed), and where the inner wheelwell housing were cut out to allow for wider rear tires back in the day...

I was thinking of installing Detroit Speed wider inners so everything would fit nicely with the missing/moved sheet metal.. I think the rear seat frame would have to be slightly massaged to fit, but would appear stock when done...

Another picture of top (see faded blue padding), roll cage, and retro wood grain steering wheel that a lot of the drag cars used back in the day...

well, strike the rear entenna, this car was probably a 350 4-speed also...

You can't see it, but a black nose strip is hiding on the left... Nice with mag wheel hubcaps and redlines, huh? Wink

Guys,

Its been since December that I last thought about selling the car, but after a lot of thought the time has finally come to let her go...

I listed her on Ebay tonight with a few more shots of the car and some of the L48 engine short block, crank, heads, intake with carb, and M20 transmission showing casting numbers and date codes. I have a lot more pictures if anyone is interested.

Here's the Ebay link.

Rick!

This car has been calling out to me since you first posted about selling it. But,times being what they are,I can't think of a way to make it happen. Frowner I gotta stay focused on getting my shop back to an operational state. Currently saving up for the 20+ yards of concrete (and excavator work)for the front of the shop.

Some may look at the Blue Topper and say "It's not all there!". But,I say, "What IS there is golden, and what isn't there needs replaced, anyway". More has been done with a lot lesser car than what you have, there! Someone will get a very worthwhile project thanks to you being it's caretaker! I wish you well on the sale. And it IS priced very "right". Andy V

Lots of interest so far today! Will post all pictures I have in Photobucket tonight (by 11 pm).

I don't want anyone to buy it before they see all the 100+ pictures I have. That way they have a real good idea of what they are getting and will need to completely restore.

Car sold on ebay tonight at the buy it now price, but after talking with the successful bidder the car remains unsold.

I will not relist right away since I'm talking with a few people who contacted me earlier today.

Depending on how things go my plan is to relist the car tomorrow or Wednesday since the bidding was going well earlier today/tonight. I'm tied up most of the day tomorrow with business meetings, so it will be hard for me to get it back up or respond to any calls/questions till later Tuesday or Wednesday

I'll do my best to get him introduced to the bunch here so he can share progress.

His intent is to do a stock/original restoration which perhaps a few modern systems (ignition, brakes, etc.) to make the car more driveable/dependable...
