It would be for an Indy pace car, but that is when the run of cars made for Canada was done. Check out the "Latest Research" page here concerning the Canadian pacers.

And there is some additional stuff in the Canadian pace car section (right above the 67 lounge).

(On page four of the first thread there is a list of the last four VIN digits of the twelve big block cars)

I read the cowl as 06C, which is correct for the CDN run. Car looks to be good. Be nice the verify the VIN. Orlando was looking into it.

Is this car still available? I'm in the market for a 67 or 69 pace car.
Thanks Jay

My name is Eileen, and I am the proud new owner of this car you see in the pics. Yes, it had alot of documentation, and I have traced it back to the owner who bought it from a dealer in 1971 in Canada. It had not been driven for about 25 years. Peter Janda was the previous owner of the car, and kept excellent records of all of his cars. I have been in touch with the owner prior to Peter, and he gave me the name of the owner from which he bought it. We plan on doing a complete restoration, but for now, we just got it back from the mechanic after 2 weeks of making it drivable. We are so excited to be an owner of a true BB CDN!

Yes, welcome. Eileen and her husband have been in contact with me for some time regarding this car. I'm sure I saw it at a Camaro show here in Canada prior to Peter moving to the USA. We'd love to hear the story and see pictures as you get the car back in drivable condition. If you have any question, just ask.
