Hi guys- New member here-- though I've been browsing as a guest for about a year or so. This listing is me. I sent tag info. to both USCC registry and ICC (D. Crispino's) registry back in the late 1980's. Recently sent snapshot to Tom couple days ago. I'm in process of completing the 6-page questionnaire, will send as soon as I can dig up the seat belt codes, glass codes; etc. Regards all and really like your website. CM.

Hi Charley!! Awesome cars!!! Did you kind of like the combo of the White with the Bright Blue interior or did it just work out that way when you were looking for a parts car?

Parts car was discovered by an old friend in the back lot of a machine shop. When he told me "I've found a car just like yours", I was pretty skeptical till I saw it, but realized I had to have it. They used it pretty much as a trash can, so I had to spend a lot of time digging out boxes of junk. Pace car was a different story. As a senior in HS I had decided I needed a convertible and was focusing mainly on-- Mustangs-- (don't kick me out for this)-- but came across ad for Camaro convertible and it was love at first sight.

It started for me as well as a Senior in High School...at least the ownership part did.... Being the youngest of 3 kids in my family, I was always exposed to things a little earlier than most and "The Hugger", which at one point, I actually believed to be the true name of the Camaro.... I knew...somehow it would be a part of my life.... 40 plus years later still have one!!! Fricken Sick!!!! But!!! Not as Sick as that M word you posted about!! Hahahahaha!!

Thought I would post an update on this. After much thought process (and speaking with many very nice people) ultimately I ended up deciding to take the car(s) off the market. A sincere Thank You to everyone who contacted me expressing interest. At this point, expecting to launch resto project in near future.

In the meantime I acquired copy of the 1992 Crispino & Hooper Indy Pace Car Book. My car is in the page 51 table of Van Nuys cars, second from bottom of table (last one listed of the 04D cars).

Nice to have you with us Charlie. I also own an LA built pacer. The Hooper book, regardless of how out of date it is in some respects, is a required book to own if you have a 67 or 69 pacer. Almost every time I read it I find something I missed, a small piece of the puzzle.
