I called. I told them I wanted to order the 67 conv. quarters for $900/pair. She said that they had been hacked and if I had tried to order them through the buy it now option the money would go to the hackers.

Pete,
What time did you call? I called and was treated very poorly when I asked about if the auction prices were correct. I was told they were correct, but did not ask about the 1/4s, I asked about the $900 screws and $900 repro trunk gasket. I prefaced all these questions by asking for Jim, but was told he was out. Maybe my asking so many odd questions made them take a look.

Even if they were hacked!!!!!!!

This guy's claim that he has NOS Convertible quarters which they are not and 1,000 Ass pans plus 100.00 rubber bumper kits still suggest that there is a pipe not too far off!!!

I vote hacked.. Jim wants all the money but he guides the price at 99% of the best possible value... NOT 10X more

Steve,
I called about 1:30 P.M. central time. I do not think the girl who answered knew a quarter panel from a lug nut. She put me on hold and came back and told me about being hacked.

There has got to be something wrong here. Not taking up for Jim (Mr.Heartbeat)here, but I've bought a good number of parts from him and yes, usually higher priced, but they were always dead on perfect as described. Haven't bought his '67 qtrs yet but did a BB radiator and it was gorgeous and exact. This whole auction of his is way out of his normal, gotta be hacked.

Pete,
I talked to her too. I called only minutes ahead of you, probably about 12:30-1:15. You are right, she didn't know anything at all. I was trying to see what they were selling NOS 67 doors for, after a delay in finding out, was told they only had china doors. I have had a shop beating me up to buy a pair I have, and wanted to see the high side price for them. I really don't want to sell them, but if the money was too stupid, I might consider it. Would have to be astronomical though... Eeker

I have bought one set of quarters and if they were going to honor the price I would have bought at least 2 more sets. There is no comparison between Heartbeats quarters and the imports. His parts are usually very good but also very expensive.

I'm using the GM stuff but NOT the rope stuff.. you can't tell unless you pull it out of the channel anyway! and worse: some suckers are buying the mid production stuff that has plastic rope and not the original string rope... so " The dope bought the wrong rope!!!" Eeker Eeker Eeker Roll Eyes

The buyer of the weatherstrip bought eleven items from the same seller on the same day. Two of the items he bought were duplicates.
