On GM stuff that is allmost allways broke or pinched wire.Had anything apart as of late that may be near that wire? maybe
sill plates?

SORRY FOR THE SLOW RESPONSE BUT YOU WERE CORRECT ON THE SILL PINCHING IT.
TO BE EXACT IT WAS MORE TOWARDS THE KICK PANEL ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. I STILL HAVE A PROBLEM SOMEWHERE. I HIT A CHUCKHOLE THE OTHER DAY AND MY GAUGE QUIT WORKING FOR A SHORT TIME. I THINKS ITS MORE BY THE TANK BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN OUT. I'LL LET YOU KNOW. THANK'S AGAIN |

I have seen the wire get old and brittle,maybe just need to replace entire wire?
