LA cars had the blacked out panel on a Pace Car? Wow! I'm learning new stuff everyday.

Weave, only if it's a big block. Norwood C-1 big block should have a black ass as well I believe.

Van Nuys and Norwood Big Blocks had Blacked out asses! Only the three Actual pacers that were at the speedway didn't get the black ass! WinkIt was not apart of the model!

Let me get this straight. Only the BB cars had the Blacked out tail panel reguardless if they were LA or Norwwod cars. Is this to include all O-1 cars too? If so, should all of the 03C cars such as Fulmers O-1 car have it too or only the BB O-1's

Tom,
I believe that is what Tony is saying.
Both O-1 and C-1 BB's had the blacked out tail panels, except for the actual 3 BB prepared track Pace Cars. All the small block 350's were white tail panels.

ThanksSmiler

I spoke with Don at Lunch hour today and he stated what he felt was a fair price for his sb car and I agreed, but then he hesitated. I'm guessing he isn't ready or wanting to sell his cars. His car would have a terrific new home and restored the way any TRUE PC deserves.
I don't want to buy a car I would have to piece mill back together causing more money to be spent than it's worth and then it would be 10 yrs before I could enjoy it.

I know I'm a different kind of guy. But this car looks good to me. I think first the replaced quarter issues need to be contended with but.... NOT too bad in a man that spends too much's mind..
The rocker panel pinch welds give me wood.. Eeker MINT MINT MINT Cool

Tom are you referring to the car 2 1/2 hrs south of me owned by Frank? I'm looking talking to a guy in TN right now waiting for the owner to decide if he wants to let it go that is miles ahead with new paint done right and #'s match for just a few thousand more than the asking price of the Tarzana car. Franks car needs allot, but does have a killer body. Did you notice how bugered up the dash was???
I'm kinda partial to Norwood cars, but won't rule out a great LA car. His car could work for me but he needs to come down 5K from what he hinted he'll let it go for. If he checks his PM and agrees I'll be down there binging home my first 67Smiler

I agree with you Tom W. I also feel that if Franks 67 Pace Car had at least the original motor or the whole original interior it would justify the cost. It needs a lot to get it back to where it should be, not that it isn't a neat 67 Pacer, it definitely is, but as far a restoring it, it needs someone with deep pockets like Tom M. Big Grin Steve bought his Marina Blue with Black interior Pacer for $35,000 I think. It was also in pretty good shape. Correct me if I am wrong Steve.Wink

Tom,

I'm not embarrassed to say what I offered Frank. I told him I would give him 30K for it. Obviously he thinks it's worth 35. But I can’t see it. An acquaintance of mine said I was nuts for offering that much. He would only do 25 on the car.
