There are quite a few Z11’s up for sale on EBay and other sites lately. I noticed the asking is also starting to go back up, but then again a bunch of NO-SALES as well. This might explain the reason for the insanely high auction prices on rotted cars needing total resto’s.

Here are just a few that are currently available:

1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...?hash=item414e406dd0

2. I like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...?hash=item335b6c6e3f

3. And then there is this one with the reserve not being met??? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...?hash=item4a9fb29b67

This one is priced very nicely!!! The car looks GREAT. The only thing that I fear is where the car comes from.

Although this car has a few incorrect items, it is almost my cars identical twin. Unfortunately, he doesn't mention if it's a real #'s BB car. Sure looks nice though us flag

Incorrect items like what?... The 3:08 and the non-orig AM/FM? What else are you talking about? Curious?

FYI - That car is mine which is why I'm interested.

Hey Tom,

Yeah, all is well here, hope the same for you. I've been around here lurking but just don't post much.

I've been enjoying cruising the '67 Pacer I bought from Tony and thought maybe I'd get rid of the '69 and take advantage of some of these killer home loan rates available right now.

Anyway, good to hear from you,

Steve

Steve,

First off you have a very nice car. The parts I noticed right away are easily replaceable items under the hood. The upper alternator bracket on a 69 should not have the hole on the top side. This is from a 70 or newer engine. AC brackets look wrong, it's hard to tell if the correct over the valve cover bracket is there or not. Also I believe the air breather lid should be black not chrome. Somebody please chime in if I’m wrong on the breather lid but mine is black.

Oops almost forgot to mention that the breather base is from an automatic car.

Thanks for the details Z11Weaver. I'll probably try and straighten those up plus a few other things that have always bugged me about the car before I make another attempt to sell it.

Besides, the car has been stored so long it's absolutely filthy inside and out (those pictures were taken about 8 months ago for a Japanese magazine). So a thorough detail job is in order before it can really be shown to any potential buyers.

Not trying to buy the mansion just yet, just trying to pickup a vacation home/rental. The '67 sure is a nice driver, Thanks again!

Here is another Z11 02D car for sale Smiler

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...tn%3D2&category=6161

This one looks very nice! Check out the underside. Like 99% of them, it has a few notable incorrect items. i.e., incorrect Hurst shift bar, newer z/vette valve covers, Ford caution sticker, automatic exhaust manifolds and missing smog equipment. Over all a very nice looking/fitting car first

Also missing the trim under the header panel that covers the top of the grill. Not sure those rivet fillers look right either. What's the digits after the NOR mean - is that the production sequence?

I wrote this guy requesting pics of his docs and proof of his #'s and resto pics, but never heard back from him. I'm not sure if this is the same car that was out in CA about 6 months back or not??? If it is, this is a fake. It also has the wrong rear vigilite indicator on the rear seat. His car shows a coupe unit in the place of the ULTRA RARE Cobra head.

2 days later and still no reply. The other 2 L89 Rags that I’m aware of can’t be touched for less than 250K needing and the other that is restored for less than 350K restored.

I don't doubt the car isn't what he (ebay seller) says it is but to throw XXXX under the bus without knowing exactly what his authentication says and when it was done(prior to or after the resto?) makes your post sound like a personal attack on XXXX.
