Lee, I checked the VIN and it is on "The List" so it is a real one. The Buy it now price is an awesome price. Almost 10k off Original MSRP.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Brian R.,

I noticed that one last night. It looks like a deal if you just want a driver. Did you see the other one in Texas with 15,000 miles and some goofy wheels for $38,000?

It only made it to $30,100 in the auction bidding, no one did the buy it now at $32,800 which really looked like a pretty good price for a low miles car. It has now been relisted. Kind of lets you know what most folks who follow ebay feel like last years pace car is worth....not as much as we do! And to think it takes over $53,000 to get this years version new!
I have not seen any of them on EBAY actually SELLING for that much, just a few greedy dealers ASKING that much. I personally think they will have a VERY hard time selling all of them them at window sticker, much less more. Yeah a few folks with the bucks will just have to have one right now and pay more, but I don't think there are nearly as many of those folks as there will be pace car replicas. Lets face it, most of the public thinks pace cars are a little gaudy for everyday driving, not any of US, but most of the buying public!
If I buy one it will need to be VERY special. If you are looking at this as an investment DON'T. If you like the cars buy one and enjoy it. Enjoyment is what you make of it, looking at it or driving it. I have the 82 with less than 1,000 miles and the 2009 with 3,000 miles. I drive the 2009 around often. If someone offers me 58k for it, it’s gone no hesitation. Look at the value of all the recent pace cars any previous year Corvette or Camaro pace car that would sell for sticker today is considered a “good buy” . Case in point is the 93's, there is one in Hemmings this month with 130 miles asking 25K. Say you bargain the person down 3K. You are at sticker 18 years later, if that makes you happy GREAT it would me as I got 18 years of enjoyment from the car.

Yeah but, you would think with all these fans (see photo from last years 500) there would be more of us...

Hum, holding sticker price value after 20 years is better then what a regular, non specialty car would be worth after 20 years. On top of that I think people like us who buy these collectables take good, ok fanatical, care of them..
