190,000 miles, Hardtop with some clear coat pealing. Dirty interior with torn drivers seat. Fuel pump supposidly out so I'd be buying it as it sits. Stripes are good and panels are straight. Engine and exhaust is bone stock. I have a daily driver pace truck and this car is tempting me. What's it worth? Are seat covers available?
Hood looks like it's in primer, so you would need decals for it after painted. These are very hard to locate. And the hood looks jacked up on the passenger side in the picture. The decals on the door(s) are missing.
I strongly agree with Jim. Not running = Buyer Beware! A comment often made on here "It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it" rings pretty true. The difference in the worth being how each person views the car, and current market values at the time.
A while back there was a daily driver on auction. It even, at one time, had a set of unused decals in the trunk. That car was drivable, but in abused/neglected condition. The seller couldn't even get the opening bid of $5000.
A response to the answers to your questions would be nice. Otherwise we feel like we are on Jeopardy.
Pass unless you want a parts car, you will spend way more in parts and paint work then its worth and I'm not talking about selling. There are many finer examples out there with milage that can be had.
I have a complete set of decals, say 2750-3000 if you can find a complete set
Interior is near impossible, I still need one interior door panel. I'm sure that there are more people out there with interiors but I'm not aware of any.

With that many miles on it and the looks of it, I'd say to just let it pass unless you want it for parts. Then again, you could use almost any other 4th gen for MOST parts! You would spend way more than you could ever get out of it if you restore it. I have seen seats, etc. for them on eBay but that's a very rare occurance. Unless you can get it for pocket change, I think I'd look around a little more.

It has an aftermarket fiberglass cowl induction hood on it, that's what appears jacked up. The body is very straight overall, just dirty. Stripes show wear on door edges and the fuel door. What's it worth honestly? I wouldn't restore it, just get it running and detail it as best as possible. I know to paint it and replace the stripes I could easily go buy a good one, but I'm kind of interested in saving this one. I'd like to add the door decals realistically how much are they and how hard to find? I restored my truck from this condition and replaced nearly every stripe on it, but I don't want to get into that again. Here is a link to some additional pictures of the car: http://photobucket.com/pacecar As you can see it's very dirty. Thanks in advance.
It's not worth restoring unless it had some special meaning to you and you were not concerned about resale! Cost too much for the items to restore it. Stripes are expensive, interiors are almost non existant. Seat covers themselves to match are NON existant. It is worth no more than any other old wore out nonrunning 190,000 mile Camaro in my opinion. $500-$1,000 tops! The hardtop version is rare, but was not ever popular, just rare! Spend your money fixing up your truck instead! At least it runs!
The added pics just confirm what has been said; not worth any more than any other non running 17yr old Camaro with 200,000 miles. To answer your question, a pair of door decals have been offered on eBay for some time at $1,000.00, not including any stripping.
Seeing one like this makes me wonder just how many of these have found their way to the boneyard after nearly 20 years! I guess there is no way of knowing how many of the 645 are still in existance but it does make you think.
Yes, that's an interesting question (how many left) A huge, if not impossible task to access every state and province's vehicle registration records just for starters
When I see cars like this. So worn out, neglected and abused. It always brings to mind how perfect they were when new. Makes me wonder how a car, any car, can start out like they do and end up like this. Kind of sad really. Especially when it's a collectible piece of history.
Me too DR. I've been thinking about getting some nice black wheels, and tires, as a secondary set. My son said the 30th SS wheels could be gotten in black. They might look good on a '93 too.
