I hope not to drive everyone crazy on here with questions... this is my first muscle car and I can see that I will have lots of questions. In order to register the car in Canada it will have to go through an inspection. So, I have started to go through a few items that may need corrected that I would rather do myself. Which brings me to the subject of signal lights. The rear ones function as well as the hazard lights in the rear. However, the side marker lights do not do anything. I can see the wires going to the right side, but cannot reach it to test it for power. Is there a trick to getting access to both sides? I cannot even see the left side. Also, the rear driving lights do not seem to function. Not sure if it is a function of the floor mounted highbeam switch or not... This switch seems to be stuck anyways. So that will be another quick project. Any advice would be great! Cameron 1969 Camaro SS Z11, 2011 Camaro Pace Car Z4Z

The side marker lights are tough to get to but it can be done to check the bulbs. You should also clean the ground wire contacts as this is a common problem.

Thanks Pat. What's the trick to gaining access to the drivers side marker light? I managed to strip the battery out and the 'can' to get access to the passenger side. Got that one working last night. It's the drivers side one with the vacuum pump for the headlight covers that looks to be a challenge... Cameron 1969 Camaro SS Z11, 2011 Camaro Pace Car Z4Z
