Here is a photo of a 93 festival truck I took back in 1993. Notice the Bow Tie plate...

The original owner replaced the windshield in 2001 but not the decal. LaVelle had bought this decal from Graphik concepts to use on a 1993. It said 1993 on the packing slip.

I looks ok and for free I am not complaining but the letters are a little big. This would be correct for the late 90s trucks. Looking at the paper work I have left I can find no part numbers to see what decal I used,

I got another email from Marilyn at Graphik Concepts this morning and she assures me that they do have the correct pattern to make a 1993 Pace Truck CHEVROLET window band of the proper size and font since they were the manufacturer of the original ones for Chevrolet. She offered a money back guarantee if not correct so that was good enough for me. I went on and ordered one and once I get it I will let you know if it matches the one on the truck.

I received the 1993 Pace Truck CHEVROLET windshield banner I purchased from Graphik Concepts today. It is perfectlty correct in every way! I laid it over top the old one and it is identical. So anyone else needing one you can feel comfortable buying a replacement from them. The cost was $38 for the banner plus shipping.

Thats what is nice about Graphik Concept. Your dealing with the company who produced the original decal in most cases. They have the specs and patterns of the original to reproduce the graphic exactly if their out of stock and I feel their prices are reasonable. Defintely the first place I'd go if I were looking to replace a graphic on a Indy support vehicle.

Hi Lee - It's the guy in NY.

You never said you wanted it back - you threw it in with all the other decals I bought from you.

I had some made - i'd be glad to send you one.

If anyone else is interested, I can give you the name of the graphics shop in West Palm Beach that made it - they have it electronically and will make as many as nescessary - I think they wanted $20.00 for them. the quality and sizing was a perfect match to the original.
Here's the finished product!

No big deal, My thought was to get one of the copies from you after they were made. Just lost track of your email. Glad to see they are ready. I'd be glad to buy one so I have a correct sized replacement. Big Grin

Those hood decals look good. Wink That was a lot of work to get those reproduced! Mad

jdeere, how did the auction go on ebay, I saw you were trying to sell it last week, but I did not save the auction and I did not see what happened. Have any luck? The work you have done on the truck looks very good to getting it back to how it should look.

Hey Lee - PM me your address - I'll send you one at no charge - thanks for the template!

Indyzdanny - sold at auction for much less than I would have hoped - but of course now the bidder has not responded, so it's not sold!!

I actually turned down a local guy this weekend because he just wanted it as a work truck!! I just couldn't see letting another one of these trucks get destroyed...Our winters are tough on vehicles up here and it would wreck this truck pretty quick...You should have seen the guys reaction when I told him I wouldn't sell it to him!!!
I haven't had much interest in it otherwise - I am a bit dissapointed in that I put alot of $$ into it, and am willing to sell it at a loss, and still have no luck!

It really is a nice clean truck and shows very well - The ones on Ebay are priced higher and are not as complete as this one - I am willing to take $4500, and they are 6-7 K on ebay!
