Does anyone still have their original hood insulation in their car or have pictures of the original? Mine was a bit too far gone to reuse, and I want to replace it but would like to see what if any molded sections of the insulation look like to make sure I get one that looks original. Mine did not appear to be molded but it did have the original round clips and since I purchased the car in 1984 I am quite sure it was never replaced. It may have just had too much wear on it to recognize any molding it had in it.

I think 69 had at least two versions.. cowl and regular.. maybe an update as well. I think the issue is that the repro..even the molded one... comes in one size fits all.. not sure if that has changed in the last year or two
