Hello,
My Father had owned a couple Chevrolet Dealers from 1950 to 1989.I acquired one of those 1967 gold promo Camaros that sits on a box with the old am radio in it.Do any of you know what the value might be on this item? I have only seen 3 so far in my lifetime. Thanks,Kurt

Hello Bill,
How do you price something like this to sell? I saw one on ebay for the first time the other day and that person was claiming he had the only one like it ever made?? Ha ha heres the joke he wanted $4995.00 to buy it?Now I cant find it on ebay again. Get back to me if you know of any collectors that would want this. Thanks,Kurt

Hello,
Do you have any idea what a person could ask for a Camaro piece like this? I saw one that sold on another selling site but you have to be a paying member to see what it sold for. Thanks for you time,Kurt

I don't know what it is worth to others but it was worth the $75 I paid for it sometime ago. I know of at least 3 other members here that have the same piece. It is in the Salesmen award catalog, so I guess Salesmen could win it back in the day.

A certain member here got one for like $5.00 at a local auction house from an estate sale. Cool

Kurt , thats a great item. As the guys say these are around and were some salesmans award. What its worth I too am unsure. Stick it on ebay and it would show what people are preparred to pay. I sure would like one of these for my collection.

Can you advise what the other items you mentioned are? "wall plaques with the cars cut in half etc"

Any pics?

They sure sound interesting

Hello Geoff,
I am open to realistic bids on the 1967 Camaro promo desk case. All I have left for promo items are all 79 and newer models.I was in a Tornado in Iowa and alot of my Chevy stuff you could say blew away really! My older brother 9 years older has most of the good stuff now.I am 47.This camaro promo was at my mothers at the time along with a few boxes when the tornado hit.If you want pictures I can send them to your email or if you get on craigslist ever I posted it in Ohio Cleveland area.It is the real deal.I am just a good small town Iowa guy that just happens to have this because my Father owned a Chevy dealership in Millersburg,Ohio in the 50s and Humboldt Iowa from 70-89 and worked for Milad Chevrolet in Amherst,Ohio in the 60s and this is where this piece came from.A little story,My Dad always told me this when he was general manager of Milad Chevy,My Dad in 1967 ordered 5 1967 Camaro Pace cars and he told me Milad was pretty upset about the deal and worried about getting rid of them.We all wish !The owner Milad Abraham and our Family were close. And in his last days when my Mother and sister went out to see him he gave us boxes of stuff and this promo was in there.I saw on ebay 1 week ago and cant find it now maybe he took it off?But this guy was asking a crazy!! $4995. for one of these saying it was the only one in the world??Ha Ha.Hope no sucker bought it! I know they are very rare but not that much for a wood box with a 67 Camaro on top.If you or anyone you know want this I put $500 for it on Craigslist Cleveland. There are very few of these because I was told the award period was quarterly?Feel free to make an offer.I would like to see it in a very nice Chevrolet collection. If you have something or one of your friends have something I would trade.Chevrolet only! Sorry so long! Thanks,Kurt

I am offering for sale my Very Rare 1967 Chevrolet Camaro promotional desk case with an AM Radio inside. This rare item from Chevrolet Motor Division was offered in the 1967 salesmens reward catalog.A salesman acquired points for quarterly sales and he could use these points to pick items from this catalog.Sometimes like this time the owner of the Chevrolet Dealership in Amherst,Ohio Milad Chevrolet at the time used points he had.I have only heard of 5 of these in 35 years that Chevrolet collectors had in their private collection. My Father owned 2 Chevrolet dealerships and worked for Milad Chevrolet in the 1960s.This Camaro promo was given to our Family that were very close to the Milads.I would say this is a 9 out of 10 in condition. The Camaro is granada gold and the 9 volt battery is original was wrapped in plastic and has never been installed. The AM Radio does work. I am taking Realistic offers. If you are interested send an email.Thank You! Serious inquiry's only $400 Can send you pics guys.To large to download here.If you all might know of a collector that might want this pass on the info please.I really hate to sell it but I am disabled and have no income.I also have 2 45 records on one side is "Camaro" the song by The CYRKLE and side 2 is "SS 396" BY Paul Revere and the Raiders. It sayscreated Exclusively for Chevrolet Dealers. My Father was a Dealer. Thanks,Kurt
