This car has been for sale for a while. The present owner just bought the car recently. It was previously owned by a member of this site. He had listed it on Ebay several times and if I remember correctly, he had trouble getting bids as high as this auction has gotten. It looks to be a nice car and it will be interesting to see how high the bids go this time. I'll have to look back and see how much Ron finally sold the car for.

His BIN price is lower then the highest bids I got on my Z7d before I tucked it away for the winter.

That Texas Direct Dealer that is selling it has some nice cars. They come up a lot when I am looking for nice unique vehicles.

Here's a link to Ron's last auction on Ebay. The new owner paid just 13,300 back on September 17. A month later, the Buy It Now price is 21,480, which is pretty close to what Ron started out selling the car at several years ago. Buying the car with purpose to resale, the new owners apparently haven't paid a lot of attention to these kinds of cars in the past. If they had, they would have known that other owners weren't able to get anywhere near that high of a price.

Ron, this car is not the only Brickyard having trouble selling in today's economy. I can think of four or five others right off the top of my head. The speculators want to make big money right now. Those who can afford the prices don't seem to think the cars are worth that kind of money today and those who would be willing to pay the price can't come up with the cash.

I am the current owner of the number 10 2000 BY 400 Camaro. Have too many cars and two teenage drivers. Reluctantly I am going to sell my Camaro and replace with something more teen safe. Would love to sell to an enthusiast. Car is in wonderful condition. Only change made by me is new Michilen Pilot tires.
