I'm inviting anyone and everyone for imput as I begin a full blown restore on my 67 pace car.

JEB FINK from Jeb's custom classics is doing the restoration.

This will be his first pace car and he has agreed to post pictures as the restoration goes. We hope the pace car site members or even just the casual camaro guy will offer imput so the car is awesome when finished !!

I have been waiting for this moment for awhile and will be dropping the Camaro off Sunday and will be posting the first pictures ASAP.

Again any and all help will be much apprecaited. Jeb is a very good guy and I appreciate that he is willing to take all the imput we can get so the car looks great !!!

I have an idea for you if you are interested Sappy. Sign up over at Chevrolets.info, let me know what your user id is and I will set you up with a higher level so you can create a running section on the restoration including uploading and hosting the pics. I even made a category called Pace Cars just for you guys. If you are interested let me know and I will walk you through how to make new posts and that way you can control how it looks and what you report on it. I really want to get a bunch of restorations on the site so people can see what is involved, how it is done and what to look for when doing one.

Thanks guys,

I just went down and drove it back from my friends storage.

This car drives so dang good on the highway. I cant say how fast as there might be a cop out there that would want to give me a ticket> Cop
But wow its runs thru the gears so smooth.

Tomorrow is the big day I drop it off.

I as well as Jeb look forward to ALL of your help guys. I cant say enough how great the site is.

I looked back at my orginal post and there were times I never thought this day would come.

Mike I will Pm you on your post/

Thanks
Dave

Thanks Tom,

I spoke with Jeb today and he already has questions. (I LIKE THAT).

We just have to get him past the shy stage and get him rolling. ( Jeb has an account and is ready to roll)!!

I told him how great the site is and how great the members are. ( I laid it on thick)> blahblah

Jeb is a great guy and will be a great member.

Jeb read thru the 23 page blog on my pacer. So he now knows I need to relax and enjoy the ride.

I promised to keep my yap shut and let the experts on here and him do the talking & work

THANKS TO ALL THAT JOIMN IN AND GIVE ADIVSE !! I REALLY DO APPRECIATE & THANK YOU GUYS !!

HEY GUYS JUST WANTED TO TAKE A MINUTE AND INTRODUCE MYSELF MY NAME IS JEREMIAH FINK BUT EVERYBODY CALLS ME JEB. IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD I AM THE ONE THAT WILL BE DOING THE WORK ON SAPP'S CAR. DAVE HAS TOLD ME SO MUCH ABOUT HOW HELPFUL EVERYONE WILL BE WITH GETTING THIS CAR DONE. I AM SUPER EXCITED TO GET TO DO A CAR OF THIS STATURE. I HAVE DONE MANY RESTOS ON 1ST GEN F BODIES INCLUDING A FIREBIRD OF MY OWN AND A INTENSE RESTO ON A 67 CAMARO COUPE FOR A GUY THAT DAVE WORKS WITH-- THAT'S HOW WE GOT HOOKED UP. ANYWAY I CAN'T WAIT TO GET TO KNOW YOU GUYS AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE GUIDANCE YOU WILL BRING WITH THIS RESTO. IT IS SURE TO BE A LONG PROCESS AS I ONLY DO THIS AT NIGHTS AFTER WORK AND ON WEEKENDS. CAN'T WAIT TILL I CAN QUIT MY JOB AND DO RESTO'S FULL TIME AS THAT IS MY PASSION. YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT THE SATISFACTION YOU GET WHEN YOU SEE THE FINISHED PRODUCT OR WHEN YOU SEE A CAR AROUND TOWN THAT YOU KNOW YOU BUILT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS

WILL BE GREAT TO GET TO KNOW ALL OF YOU AND AGAIN I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO ALL OF YOUR INPUT
