Being a purist at heart, ...I initially struggled with 'changing' the current '67 I have, ...but I'm moving forward with my plans to build it in the '67 pacer color scheme.

I'm starting with a fairly rust free (Nevada) '67 6cylinder vert, factory A/C, PS and PB, Granada Gold, with standard gold interior.

Even though pretty rust free, ...it wasn't without it's share of bondo in the rear...

...starting back...

The original pans, ...epoxy primed...

This car is an 11B build (Nov '66), ...obviously not in the timeframe for a real Pacer, ...and it is NOT my intention to fake one.
So, for the record, the VIN is 12367L120020
Here's the cowl tag:

Other than that, ...it is my plan to have it technically correct in every way for a '67 RS/SS 350 pacer (like my old car : ). I was even able to locate a 12-bolt (posi) rear with traction bar.

...it's handy to have an extra subframe around Wink

...cowl area

...Got a 350 SB sitting on a stand (all set with chrome Chevrolet script covers, etc.) ...just waiting.

My only (UN) decided part is the trans. I did drill the necessary holes in the firewall (and tunnel) for a manual (ie. speedo re-route), ...but still on the fence.
I'm actually now thinking of heading towards a Tremec 5sp, ...but funding wise, ...that will have to wait a bit.

Plan is to have it painted in the next couple weeks, ...but then (school starts mid August), ...it will come to a screatching halt real fast.

Tom, ...as for help, ...Paint codes for interior? ...what have you guys been using? (been so darn long since I did mine, ...I'm forgetting stuff ... lol )

...Larry, ...you ain't sellin' your car, ...who you kidding... Smiler

Nice work Kevin. Would an 11B built car have the traction bar mount on a 12 bolt?
