How is it possible to take a rubber stamp and make the letter come out as a mirror image? I (we) must be missing something about this process. Its no logical to me that a simple rubber stamp can be made to print mirror image... anyone? confused Confused

Here is a text book example of them.. I always thought when someone restored their car and put them in a row like this it was contrived and unrealistic.... apparently NOT Cheers

Maybe these are NOT stamps at all but hand held stencils with paint soaked sponge applicators? Its easy to hold a stencil from the wrong side

Naw... see, that wouldn't work becasue the letter centers of the P and the B can't be disconnected....... Roll Eyes

Looks like an incomplete, upside down "B" to me. You can see part of the upper B loop (or lower in this case since it's upside down) in the middle stem of the letter.

Well if he stamped the "T" upside down must of done the "B" as well. If you think about it there really is no other explanation.

Maybe the guy lost his rubber "P" stamp and improvised making a "P" with the "B" stamp. Big Grin

That still wouldn't make a rubber stamp be backwards... staring closely at these two examples I would guess its the same one.. I wonder if its just a line joke we don't get?
