Hi Larry!

Welcome aboard! What known History do you have on your car?
Do you still have that little ole blue number on the inside mirror?

Do you know what dealership sold your car?

Welcome Larry,

Looking forward to hearing about your car and yourself. So how far from Indy does your car call home these days? It's great to see how scattered across the globe these cars are. Looking forward to seeing some photos.

Larry,

If I am correct you purchased my old Pace Car. Please post your vehicle info. If so I may be able to help with some info. I did own the vehicle for over 20 years.

Kelly.

Didn't you have the Big Block car that sold on Ebay...or did you have two Pacers at one time?

Tony,

I only had the one pacer. I can't wait to see pictures if Larry has restored it. I can not believe that it is back in Indiana. That is funny since I am back in NJ which is where I sold it from before I moved to Indiana.

Tony,

Yes, I did. I was told sometime later that he flipped it to a guy who took it out west.

This is getting confusing but its great because we are now going to get to the bottom of this..

If I remember correctly the antiquedog car had fender flares and was non matching. I also think it was for sale arounf the time I was first looking..like 9-10 years ago, no?.. I bet I printed and saved that auction.

I don't think that has anything to do with new guy Larry although I'd love to straighten this out right here... Big Grin

I'm pretty sure we are talking about a different car.
Kelly's old car sold around 02 maybe 03. It was a Big Block "Company Car" that either origianlly had Mag Hub Caps or someone, before Kelly picked it up, converted to Drum Brakes.

Cars that were smacked and repaired with original parts ( not new ) often received subframes too. I've seen cars that had discs loose them in these swaps...checking the subframe "style" is a good double check on that possibility as well

I am pretty sure it was always a drum brake car. There was really no signs that the brakes had been changed. I bought the car in 1983 and it had slotted aluminum wheels on it. Yes, it had the stupid looking flares on the rear. Someone else on here had one that had them also. Sold it in May/June 2003.

I still have all of my old pictures of the car in case anthing is needed.

Ahhh, yes and this one has the super stylish stainless/rubber front mud flaps with the body color matched, white rubber. Nice tail lamp panel treatment too! Gag me. Sorry Tom

Kelly.... Wasn't there a letter from a Chevrolet Dealership talking about the car being used as a Company car....Or something like that? Do you have any copies of the letter?

I have a picture some where showing what I believe just might be your old car....Once I find it I'll post it!

You should post the pictures you have in the OLD RIDES thread!
