Well,I found out from another site on the net that the dealership that ordered my Pacer is having an auction this saturday. EVERYTHING goes! Inventory and stuff back to the 1940's. I talked to a salesman who said that the franchises were pulled. It's too far for me to go,but is anybody in west Tennessee that may want to go for a look-see? It's in Milan,Tn.

Here is a website that will show it all: http://jamesrcash.com/1016/

The salesman I spoke with said for me to call back next week to speak with the owner who may be able to help me with my research. He's much too busy getting ready for the auction right now. They built a new building 20 years ago,so he doesn't have any idea if any records were saved from 1967. fingers crossed....Andy V.

Whoa! Yea. that'd be great to see if they have any files.. Dealerships like that are falling fast.. either out of business or moving to newer quarters and tossing everything or being bought by conglomerates and are " in name " only

Hope something comes of it!

Well,,chances were slim to none,so that is how it is. Frowner I talked to the salesman that I'd spoken with earlier, and he had made inquiries for me. He spoke to the office lady (been there 47 years),and no records exist from the 60's or 70's. He also talked with the owner (who was 19 at the time),and he said,"man we had a lot of those type of cars, my head was in the clouds back then." Didn't remember having it at all. Frowner His father,(Argyl Graves) was the owner at that time, but he passed on several years ago. Dead ends,I guess. (no pun intended)
