WOW,

She drives and shifts nice. I had the top down and the car just begs to have you step on the gas. The car runs tight and smooth. I honestly think a little work on the brakes and I could drive her all the way to L.A where she was built.

I took some pictures wuth the top down and some interior shots of door handles. Headed to work now but will post pictures tongiht after work !!

SWEET checkered flag

Not sure of anywhere else to look for build sheets. Looks like that won't be found.

Hi David,
Some of the guys here might be interested if you found a color code for the carpet. If you carpet was origianl it might be of interest to some of them.
One other place you might look for a build sheet and could be between the gas tank and trunk floor, sometimes they have been known to be stuck in there.
You sound like you are going into hybernation for the winter. We will not see or hear from you until Spring? Frowner

OK Buddy,
We don't want to loose you for too long. It's good to get experience for future projects. Big Grin Sorry to hear about your experience over on the other site. I think sometimes people get jealous when someone, such as yourself, finds a cool Camaro. They just want to pick it apart. They should just leave a person alone unless they say it is for sale. You just got the car.

That also happened to me when I posted pictures of my BB convertible on a photo website. It didn't take long for someone to ask "Is it for sale?"!

Good to see you are taking things slowly and doing some research. We will be waiting with anticipation for some awesome news and pictures. We love pictures here too. Can you tell? We love your car David and the story behind it. Keep us updated when you can.

I posted some info and should have put a fake email address. I was overwhelmed with emails wanting to buy. I assume that most of those people felt a need to bad mouth and pick my car apart. I think thats why on my initial post I thought my car was a joke with how much had been done to it.

The members here nipped that in the butt right away. I never received a negative email from this site or any inquiries trying to buy.

I took all the seats out yesterday and put them in my basement. I took the pacer to my buddies house and put it away as they are forecasting snow and rain next week.

My goal for the rest of the winter is to get as much documentation and pictures from his ex-wife and car dealership. She seems very friendly and will be helpful. I just figured I would spend the next few months going back to helping my buddy rebuild his 67 BB camaro.

I need the experience for my own future restore.

Hold the presses.... perhaps not sold?? confused

Holy cow David.. I was gone a few days and whamo.. things got sour fast for you Frowner

Your story about the car is seriously one of the most fast paced and unbelievable of all we've had! I think other guys might just be overwhelmed by it all... I say stay on the research and, enjoy the car and watch it all unfold... Big

Whose TXSS over there? why does he laugh when Zedder says there are SOME good guys over there?

Hey David,
Don't fret too much over the flurry of emails on the other site. After reading all the emails over there it is an easy mistake. It happens to the best of us buddy. I have even found myself in that position too. It can be embarrasing, but it will soon pass. You're in good company here! Don't let it drive you away from asking questions or having fun with your Pacer. This site is where you belong! Chin up! Big
                        Grin yea Cheers

Sappy787....

I can't speak to what's going on over on the other site but I do know that you thought I was ripping down your car when you asked me to give you my opinion of what I could see in the photographs.
Your car is what is.... that's all that really matters! Smiler
