My father-in-law owns this car and I would like to locate and purchase this plate if at all possible.

Welcome to the site Evan and congrats to your father-in-law on his purchase of Festival Car #44. Finding the plate that belongs with his car may not be the easiest thing to do. I've been looking for 8 years for mine and have not found it. Ebay is probably the best place to start your search. Plates from many of the different years often show up there. If a plate collector has purchased it, be prepared for the fact that you may never find it or you may not being able to get them to sell it if your lucky enough to find it. For the record, plate #19 was just on Ebay last week starting at $160 or $170.

Can you tell us some more about the car and post some pictures? Everyone here loves to learn about the background of these cars and the see the documentation associated with them.
