I have a silver 2002 Brickyard Camaro and had a question about the decales. The previous owner of my car removed the decale of the drivers name (Ted Musgrave) from the hood of the car. I want to have the decale re-made and was wodnering if someone could measure the dimensions of thier decales so I know what size to get them made. Thank you for your help.

I'll get some pictures of mine with a ruler so you can see the size.

Welcome to the site. Could you help me clear up some confusions about the Z7D driver assignments? In an article published in the June 2003 issue of Camaro World Magazine, the list below gave specific information on which cars the drivers were assigned for the driver introductions the 2002 race. As you can see, Joe Nemechek is shown being in Car #36. I believe this is incorrect and it should read Ted Musgrave.

According to the starting line up, Joe qualified in the 10th position which would of placed him in Car #10. I had found this picture of the window sticker for the VIN of Car 10 and it was signed by Joe.

The starting line up shows that Ted Musgrave should have been in Car #36. Did Ted sign the window sticker for your car and does your the VIN match the last six digits given in the article?

I think that there are a total of six drivers shown incorrectly in this list. The car numbers and VIN's seem to match what is in the list, the problem is with the drivers in the wrong starting positions.

I have #36 and it is autographed by Ted. I will have to check on the VIN. Also, my car is from the August 4, 2002 race.

Thank you, your verification helps me document the record for the future. I still need to verify the Ken Schrader, Kurt Busch and Hut Strickland cars.

Do you have a copy of the Camaro World article? If not and you would like one, PM me your email address and I'll send you a pdf copy.

Beautiful Car! It's easy to forget these cars are nearing 10 years old now. There are several for sale right now and seeing these pictures sure makes it hard to fight off the urge to buy one.

Nice! Man I wish they had the extensive list of Brickyard drivers back in 2000.

BTW, how did you get the large pictures posted? It would only allow a tiny one when I tried...
